How do I get music downloads onto iTunes on my computer?

I have both Limewire and iTunes on my laptop, but whenever I download a song, I just can’t seem to get it into a credible music folder so it goes into iTunes. I tried picking a folder (the main music folder on Windows) and saving the changes, but the way I see it, it did not accept the save. What am I doing wrong?

I Want it to go into this folder: Music > iTunes > iTunes Music.

Open iTunes and import file/folder
The library but dont know what it does in terms of file placement if you wanted something.
The music file you want to the itunes then open the music file you want to move drag.
